Mark Geyer -Local Rugby League Football Legend To Pull Crowds Back Into Mount Druitt Re-Opening - Mount Druitt Standard!

29th November 2014, is the re-opening of the Mount Druitt Swimming Pool and local Mark Geyer, Rugby League  local football legend has thrown his support to wards the re-opening of the mount Druitt Swimming Pool re-opening.

The new Blacktown City Council Mayor, Stephen Bali, had made a decision to spend costs on maintenance and re-open the pool. We are unsure what the costs are or were and maybe one of the Councillors of Blacktown Council can advise us. Maybe we will not know about this until the pool re-opens. The Mayor has declared it a free entry day for Mount Druitt community members.

With Mark Geyer throwing his support, this should get more community members to the pool. Whether he goes to the pool and be a true advocate of Mount Druitt Swimming Pool. Also will we see Councillors of Ward 4, Blacktown City Council, ber for Mount Druitt and Federal Member for Chifley regularly swim there would be a sensational hit for the advocates of keeping the pool. If the future of the pool is kept open and Council purses don't go broke, then I am happy for the people of Mount Druitt.
