Mount Druitt Needs More Community Advocates - And It Starts From You!

Within Mount Druitt there are many silent community activists and advocates that are passionately working hard for their local community. There are 2 or 3 of them that hold community festivals mostly funded by Blacktown City Council.

The more volunteer advocates for Mount Druitt, the more there is peoples voice being heard. Anyone can be a 'lone advocate' or commence a group or even participate in a current to reach the goals you want for the community. Donating time, is set by you and the more  you donate, the more the community will benefit. This all depends on how you balance your life and the type of volunteer you would like to be.  To be a community advocate for Mount Druitt or any place within Mount Druitt it all starts with you!
There is the Whalan Community Action Group, which is a local community group trying to bring the local community together by providing different programs to keep the community 'Activated'! They don't seem to have a website, yet they have a Facebook group. They have been mentioned in a speech in NSW Parliament by former Londonderry State Member Allan Shearan:
