The group has been actively been running for the last 5 yea rs even under the Banner of 'Save Our Bus Services, Mount Druitt and Surrounding Suburbs'.
As founding former President, I must congratulate Christina Crook, current President and the Committee, to keep marching on. About 18 members and guests attending a Christmas lunch as the Vegas Hotel, Mount Druitt, yesterday to wish everyone a very 'Merry Christmas and a Happy Public Transport New Year!'
It was a well attended event and people were all happy. The only issue with the event, as it is every year, it is a difficult decision, to decide where to have the annual event. The main issue is limited avenues to choose a venue, that is easy to get to by public transport, it has to be centrally located!Each person is passionate about the group, representing each suburb of public transport that is requiring better services and infrastructure. It was very pleasing see Blake Bardowski back in the group again.
