I met a young community member from North Mount Druitt over the last two weeks and one thongs he was stressing the point to myself, was that it was difficult getting a job for the first time, coming from a different country and he had been looking for any kind of work.
He was going to email his request for jobs on that day and I didn't receive it. The reason why he didn't respond,was, the day he spoke to myself, he was took on a job offer of a forklift driver in Wetherill Park, that he will do whatever he can to retain his employment with his new employer. He has been working there for one week. This is good news and anyone that gets a new job in the area, it is such a great improvement for that person and the confidence of the area.
