Footbridge Walkway Overpass Still Being Called For Mount Druitt Resident And Advocate!

Proposed site, North Mount Druitt facing Mount Druitt
A resident, community member and a strong advocate for improvements at Old Mount Druitt Village/South Mount Druitt, Peter Kerr is still advocating for a footbridge walkway overpass, to connect North Mount Druitt to South Mount Druitt/Rooty Hill residents.

This would provide a great linkage for pedestrians/resido reach impotant and vital schools in the arealey:Chifley College, Loyola Catholic College and Western Sydney Tafe Mount Druitt, Mount Druitt Hospital and Rooty Hill RSL.

Although, he has raised his idea/suggestion to Local  Councillors and the current, State Member for Mount Druitt, Mr Richard Amery, it may have fallen on deaf ears. The reason that I think this has happened, (as far as being told), the cost to build it would be over $1M and the question is, who is going to pay for it. That is whether Blacktown City Council will pay for it or NSW State Government. It is the same with every infrastructure improvement that is placed into the 'works program'.

Peter  has been instrumental in obtaining traffic lights for pedestrian safety at corner of Fuller Streets and Carlisle Avenue Mount Druitt.
