Big issues up for debate at Mt Druitt Standard’s State Election forum at Rooty Hill RSL

Public transport will be on the agenda at the forum.

Transport, health, education and emergency services funding will be on the agenda at the Mt Druitt-St Marys Standard’s state election forum.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet the candidates attempting to represent them at the State Election on March 28.

Traffic congestion and public transport will be on the agenda.

Improving Mt Druitt Hospital will be discussed on the night.

 

The forum, which will be held on Thursday, March 5, from 6.30pm at Rooty Hill RSL, will allow residents to question the candidates.
The four candidates including Labor’s Edmond Atalla, the Liberal Party’s Olivia Lloyd, the Greens’ Brent Robertson and Josh Green from the Christian Democratic Party have all been invited to attend.
Standard editor Kelly Robinson said the forum would be a chance to learn the policies of the people hoping to represent the area.

“The forum will allow residents to ask the hard questions of candidates and learn how they will endeavour to make the Mt Druitt area a better place,” she said.
