NSW Budget 2017-18 highlights

 Making It Happen

Regional NSW will receive record investment under the NSW Government’s $1.3 billion Regional Growth Fund, announced in today's 2017-18 budget.

The budget surplus of $2.7 billion forecast means a record $72.7 billion will be invested over four years into infrastructure.

Budget highlights include a record investment in schools, hospitals and health infrastructure, and
financial support for first home buyers. A $100 annual Active Kids rebate will encourage parents to enrol their school-aged kids in community sport.

Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said NSW is the only state with all of strong surpluses, negative net debt, a growing net worth, a triple A rating, low unemployment and record investments in services and infrastructure.

“That is a testament to the hardworking men and women of NSW, and puts us in the enviable position of being able to build for today as well as for tomorrow, Mr Perrottet said.

Editors Notes:
I clicked on the Mapping The NSW Budget typed in Post Code 2770 and in came up with 15 projects within Blacktown LGA. What I noticed  was 3 immediate places for funding Mount Druitt Police Station, NSW Fire and Rescue and Mount Druitt Hospital Redevelopment Stages 1-2. Commitment for the year approximately was over $110M.

I probably need to understand The Estimated Cost. If the Estimated cost is great than the commitment, this reflects a shortfall.

I would like to extend any  'Right of replies' from a Local NSW State Member, to The Hon. Edmond Atalla, MP for Mount Druitt and also Hon. Pru Car, MP for Londonderry:
